Bullet passes thrown by poor quarterbacks tend to be inaccurate and difficult for receivers to handle. They are more difficult to catch and intercept than other types of passes. They tend to be thrown around chest-height and can be deflected by defensive linemen if the receiver is within a few yards of the line of scrimmage. They are released the fastest from the quarterback and travel the fastest in-flight.
